Terms of Service
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Music Shorts AI (the "Service"), including the website, account features, the credit system, song and video generation workflows, public song pages, and related tools we provide.
By creating an account, generating content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use paid features. The Service is not offered to children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under the required age, we may suspend it and delete associated data.
3. Service Description
The Service lets you create AI-generated songs and matching short-form music videos from text prompts, lyrics, reference images, or uploaded audio. Available features, styles, and limits may vary by product configuration, account status, credit balance, subscription plan, provider availability, region, and usage limits.
4. Accounts, Credits, and Access
Some features require an account. Sign-in may use email, a password, a magic link, or a supported social provider. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Generation consumes credits. Credits, quotas, trial allowances, rate limits, and plan benefits are shown in the product interface or checkout flow and may be adjusted as the Service evolves. Monthly subscription credits reset with each billing cycle and do not roll over. Top-up credits do not expire.
Free trial credits expire 7 days after issuance and are not refundable. Free and guest outputs may include watermarks; watermark removal requires a paid plan.
5. User Content and Uploads
You retain ownership of prompts, lyrics, images, audio, and other materials you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service — for example, rendering your video, storing your output, or showing it on a public song page when you choose to make it public.
You are responsible for Your Content and must have all rights and permissions required for it, including rights to any vocals, samples, artwork, or likenesses you upload. Do not upload sensitive personal data, confidential business materials, illegal content, or content you are not authorized to use.
If you publish a song or video publicly (for example, on a public song page), you acknowledge that anyone with the link can listen to it, view it, and download it where the feature is available, and you are responsible for that choice.
6. Generated Outputs and AI Disclosures
AI-generated songs, vocals, and videos may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to other generated content, or unsuitable for a particular use. Review outputs before publication or commercial use.
Paid plans include a commercial license for generated outputs, subject to applicable law, your input rights, and provider terms. You are responsible for complying with platform rules where you publish outputs — including AI-content disclosure requirements that may apply on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
7. Voice and Artist Imitation
Do not use the Service to generate vocals or content that imitates the voice, name, image, or persona of a real person or performing artist without their explicit permission. Uploading samples of a real person's voice to clone or approximate it may violate their publicity and privacy rights and these Terms.
8. AI Providers and Processing
AI generation may be processed by third-party model providers (including music and video generation models), infrastructure providers, storage providers, payment processors, and other service providers. Submitted inputs and generated outputs may be transmitted to those providers as needed to deliver the requested functionality. See our Privacy Policy for details on processing and retention.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights
- Generate or distribute harmful, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, sexual, or illegal content
- Impersonate or imitate a real person's voice or likeness without permission
- Upload malware, confidential data, or content you are not authorized to process
- Circumvent safety systems, credit limits, rate limits, access controls, or security measures
- Interfere with the Service, infrastructure, providers, or other users
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
10. Content Reporting and DMCA
If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice to our support email shown in the product or website footer, including: identification of the infringed work, the URL or identifier of the allegedly infringing content, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and your signature.
We may remove or disable access to reported content, notify the uploader, and terminate repeat infringers' accounts. If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice through the same channel.
11. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, throttle, or discontinue any feature at any time. AI providers and infrastructure services can experience delays, outages, policy changes, model changes, pricing changes, or result-quality variation.
12. Payments and Refunds
Paid plans, credit purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the pricing page, our Refund Policy, and any terms shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes, fees, and provider costs may affect final pricing.
13. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses related to generated outputs, provider failures, data loss, business interruption, or unauthorized use.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
